K2 Cloud and K2 Five Training Dates for 2018!

The K2 Core and K2 smartforms training is an instructor-led or self-study training course designed to give participants the skills and knowledge to create process-driven applications with K2 workflows, SmartObjects and smartforms, without writing any code.

This course is intended for:

  • Anyone who wants a basic overview of K2 and how K2 is used.
  • Anyone who wants to learn how to build applications with K2.
  • Anyone who wants to move on to more advanced modules, for example Developers.

During this course, participants will learn:

  • How to build simple to intermediate-level applications in K2 that include SmartObjects, SmartForms, and Workflows
  • We will cover how to use standard and custom reporting in K2
  • Some typical, day-to-day administration tasks in K2

Most modules include a hands-on exercise where attendees will apply the knowledge they have gained in that module to build a K2 application. Attendees will be provided with a “sandbox” environment where they can then build out the application during the course.

Episode 20: Remove the burden of Records Management (TRIM) from employee experience

Are you finding it difficult to manage digital record keeping whilst trying to support users to adopt the practices?

Applying retention policies to content in SharePoint Online remains a massive headache for records managers.

Imagine the benefits of being able to expose a digital form inside the easy to use SharePoint Online [Office 365], whereby having the ability to capture data and attach documents in real time, save the data directly to HP Records Manager in order to comply with all record keeping practices?

Too good to be true? Think again.

In this scenario we will demonstrate a K2 form embedded into SharePoint, attaching documents directly from HPRM (TRIM), generating PDF documents, creating records in HPRM.

Webinar 17: Digital Transformation with HP Records Manager (TRIM) and Office 365

Episode 12: K2 & Hyperfish – Why AD Health is important for productivity

Most organisational departments tend to purchase systems to meet their needs without having to worry about integration with other parts of their organisation.

This type of isolated execution will create duplicates of information which tend to then be managed by each individual department.

The business departments alone aren’t to blame for this. The IT team would have been too busy, had other priorities to address or simply didn’t realise the impact of not centralising key user information in active storage such as AD.

In this video, with guest presenter, Hyperfish, we showcase how your organisation can maintain up to date user information in AD when building an application(s) using products such as K2.

Episode 11: Microsoft Ignite Encore – From Cloud Productivity to Enterprise Business Apps

In this session, presented by Igor Jericevich from K2, will cover how to think about moving from siloed applications to business solutions based on Microsoft Cloud Productivity services.

During this presentation, Igor will be showcasing the K2 workflow process showing the list of technology use in an account on boarding scenario.

During the video, Igor will be demonstrating a technology fuelled new staff on-boarding process using the following technologies:

• Microsoft Yammer
• Microsoft Planner
• Microsoft SharePoint
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Microsoft Flow
• DocuSign

Episode 10: K2 with DocuSign and Microsoft BI

Experience an all-encompassing demonstration that goes from electronic forms to document management into contract management with electronic signatures and business process spanning multiple systems.

Capability highlights:

– Anonymous eForms against Office 365 lists
– Workflow process spanning different systems and users
– Document generation and online authoring
– Multi-stage review and approval of both eForm data and documents
– Seamless DocuSign integration into business process

Digital Transformation – From Cloud Productivity to Enterprise Business Apps – considerations & best practices

Wednesday, 15th February at 1:45 PM.

The Microsoft Cloud Productivity stack offers immense value, but is often thought about and used as a set of somewhat disconnected applications.

It’s only when these capabilities are brought together in the context of enterprise business solutions, that the real power is harnessed, enabling companies to accelerate Digital Transformation. Demands of the business are rapidly outstripping IT ability to supply when traditional solution delivery methods are used. This requires that companies think about new disruptive ways to deliver workflow automation and process improvement that spans many parts of your business.

This session, presented by Dave Marcus and Igor Jericevich from K2, will cover how to think about moving from siloed applications to business solutions based on Microsoft Cloud Productivity services and help deliver a new era of productivity in the journey to digital transformation.

#HeyIgor, Can I generate PDF’s from K2 smartforms and workflows?

#HeyIgor, Can I generate PDF’s from K2 smartforms and workflows?

Yes you absolutely can (Video above)!

The ability to generate a PDF copy of a smartform and email it as part of a process is a capability that has been a part of K2 smartforms right from the start. This can be achieved using the K2 smartform PDF control.

Examples where this could be applicable include:

  • The need to send the originator of a request a hard copy of the form they submitted.
  • The need to generate a PDF mid-way through a process and have then emailed off to a client with all the relevant data presented on it.
  • Generate a PDF copy of a form with relevant audit data to be stored in a record in a records management system or SharePoint
